Child Sex-Trafficking in the USA

Most common ways children are lured into sex trafficking are: (taken from Compassion 2 one)
· Physical force and threat
· Coercion (debt relief for the family, jobs, marriage, etc.)
· Physical and/or emotional abuse
· Intimidation and threats against the individual and their family
· Promise of monies for fashion modeling or movie acting
· Offer for food or clothing which results in being captured into slavery

"You can sell drugs once. You can sell a little girl over and over and over again," said Beth Grant, co-founder of Project Rescue, a Springfield-based ministry that helps women and children escape slavery.
